As a data scientist, youre excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and youre fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Youll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Youll guide and mentor your team as you oversee the development of algorithms and systems. Youll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions. As a technical leader, youll identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to help your clients meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

5+ years of experience with data science, data analytics, machine learning, data research, or statistics

Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Python, C++, Java, or R

Experience identifying and analyzing data sets to meet customer requirements

Experience preparing customer data for models, including merging and aggregating data, handling anomalies, balancing, and feature selection

Ability to help interpret model results and communicate them clearly through compelling data visualizations

Nice If You Have:

Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning te chn iques, including neural networks, decision trees, logistic regressions, or dimension reduction

Experience with data engineering and data science tools, including Databricks, ElasticSearch, Apache NiFi, or StreamSets

Experience with enterprise DataOps, DevSecOps, and MLOps processes to operationalize and monitor data science models

Experience with Agile development

Experience with CI / CD, including Git, Je nk ins, and Docker

Knowledge of procedural SQL language, including PL or pgSQL

Ability to explain analytic and model findings to non-te chn ical audiences

Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
