Position: Associate Banker SAFE Act This role is for a strategic professional who stays updated on developments within their field and contributes to strategic planning by applying their knowledge to their work and the business. The Associate Banker is recognized as a technical authority in their area, requiring basic commercial awareness. They communicate effectively and diplomatically to influence colleagues and external customers, impacting the business through complex deliverables. They provide advice related to technology or operations, affecting overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Responsibilities Assist the Banker in creating sales and marketing strategies to generate revenue and acquire new clients, focusing on Investments. Support prospecting efforts by researching new clients, generating leads, developing prospects, networking for referrals, and coordinating client events. Help profile, qualify, and convert prospects into Citi Private Bank clients. Organize client/prospect meetings, including pre-call planning, note-taking, and maintaining call records. Assist in deepening existing client relationships through analysis. Provide revenue tracking and deal pipeline reports to the Banker. Support day-to-day documentation such as account openings, closings, and loan disbursals. Offer comprehensive service support, including resolving complex client inquiries. Ensure proper documentation for KYC/AML and maintain updated client records. Assess risk appropriately, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and escalate control issues as needed. Qualifications 6-10 years of experience Knowledge of investments required; banking and credit products desirable Ability to manage internal and external relationships and multi-task effectively Education Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Details Job Family Group: Private Client Coverage Job Family: Private Banker Support Employment Type: Full-time Location: Costa Mesa, California, United States Salary Range: $135,200 - $202,800 annually Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), insurance, wellness programs, and paid time off.
