Job Description

• Location: College Station, TX, 77845
• Shift: 8 HR Days | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Compensation: Based on experience

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and accurately.
• Provide timely and cost-effective imaging services.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain professional behavior and communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Review patient satisfaction results and contribute to improvement plans.
• Stay current with industry practices and provide age-specific care (from newborn to geriatrics).
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations and administer first aid if needed.
• Ensure exam rooms and equipment are properly maintained, sanitized, and restocked.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)

Certifications/Licensure (any one of the following):

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS):
  • RDMS-OB (Obstetrics/Gynecology)
  • RDMS-AB (Abdomen)
  • RDMS-BR (Breast)
  • MSK (Musculoskeletal)
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT):
  • ARRT-S (Sonography)
  • ARRT-BS (Breast Sonography)
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI):
  • RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)

BLS Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
