Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise the Security team, ensuring effective responses to all safety and security incidents.
  • Conduct investigations of missing item claims, guest concerns, and associate incidents, preparing detailed reports and follow-ups.
  • Oversee department operations in the absence of the Director of Security, including managing schedules and assigning duties.
  • Facilitate safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA standards, loss prevention policies, and emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct daily property patrols, hazard inspections, and key control checks to maintain a secure and safe environment.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and other departments to create a collaborative and respectful work environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle incidents effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to mentor and guide your team.
  • Familiarity with progressive loss prevention strategies and hospitality industry security practices.
  • Experience in First Aid/CPR administration, OSHA compliance, and emergency response protocols.
  • Previous experience in law enforcement or hotel security is preferred.
  • An associate’s degree is preferred, with 2-5 years of hotel industry experience.
