Role Overview:

As the Plant Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and strategic planning within a large, bustling manufacturing facility, managing a workforce of up to 1,000 employees. You will directly lead a team of 150–300 with two direct reports, focusing on enhancing operational performance, efficiency, and team morale. This is a key leadership role with significant cross-functional interaction and influence across the site leadership team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing standard work processes and spearheading change management initiatives
• Ensuring continuous improvement through disciplined execution and autonomous maintenance practices
• Engaging and developing employees to nurture a high-performance culture
• Collaborating with HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve production goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential
• Over 7 years of experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or CPG manufacturing
• Over 7 years in operations or plant leadership roles
• Experience in medium-to-large facilities with 400+ employees
• Strong expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Union experience is highly preferred
• Proven leadership in fast-paced and collaborative environments
