Physical Therapist

We are currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Ellensburg, Washington. This position is based in a hospital setting, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, treating a wide range of diagnoses and patient ages. The position offers a pay range of $40 – $50/hour, DOE.

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Assess, treat, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs, addressing various diagnoses and patient populations.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports in compliance with facility policies.
• Program Development: Plan, market, and develop new therapy programs to enhance patient outcomes and meet community needs.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Staff Education: Lead in-service training sessions for fellow therapists and staff to promote continuous learning and best practices.
• Operational Support: Assist with the daily operations of the therapy department, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S.), Master’s (M.A., M.S.), or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program. Must possess or be eligible for state licensure in Washington.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Experience: New graduates are encouraged to apply! Experience in hospital-based inpatient or outpatient therapy is beneficial but not required.
