ExFreight, a market-leading global digital freight forwarder and transportation solutions provider, is seeking an Ocean Export Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in international logistics and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

This is an office-based opportunity at our company headquarters in Lake Worth, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that freight shipments booked by customers using our online shipping platform have been entered into the system correctly along with corresponding export documentation.
• Make export bookings with ocean carriers and coordinate timely pickups with truckers and loading with shippers.
• Create ocean shipping documents for submission to the ocean carriers.
• Enter shipment updates into our system and work directly with customers to address any issues that may arise.
• Follow-up to confirm freight has arrived at destination as booked within the transit time presented to customers.
• Review freight rates and costs associated with the shipment prior to issuing invoices to customers.
• Build relationships with customers through professional interaction and timely communication.
• Work closely with colleagues and management to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of freight forwarding experience, preferably in ocean exports.
• Highly detail oriented and organized with ability to solve problems.
• Ability to work analytically, proactively and take accountability for personal performance.
