💼 Full-Time | Starting Salary: $55,000/year

Miami Arts Charter School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 6th Grade Math Teacher to join our outstanding faculty for the 2025–2026 school year. Founded in 2009 and located in Miami’s renowned Wynwood Arts District, Miami Arts Charter School serves students in grades 6–12 who are admitted through a selective application and audition process in the performing and fine arts. Our students are driven, creative, and academically motivated—creating a truly unique and inspiring learning environment.

As a Florida Public Charter School, we align all courses with Florida State Standards and are committed to delivering both academic excellence and artistic opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 6th Grade Mathematics aligned to state standards
• Develop and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans
• Support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
• Track and report student progress through grades, evaluations, and parent communication
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide goals and events

Qualifications:

• State of Florida Teaching Certificate (Professional or Temporary) OR Statement of Eligibility
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Ability to connect with and motivate middle school learners
• Commitment to excellence and ongoing professional growth
• Passion for working with talented and diverse students
