Electronics Technician – 2 Openings (Day and Night Shift) – $26.60–$27.40/hr – Columbus, IN

\n Location: Onsite in Columbus, IN (Local Candidates Only)

\n Shifts Available:
\n• Day Shift: Flexible hours between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM
\n• Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n
\n Pay Rate: $26.60 – $27.40 per hour (based on experience)

\n About the Role:
\nKelly is hiring two Electronics Technicians to support operations at a leading automotive component manufacturer in Columbus, IN. In this hands-on, full-time role, you’ll work in the CSE Controls Lab troubleshooting and maintaining hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems, supporting test system setups, and developing custom electronic test hardware.

\nThis is an onsite position, and candidates must be local to the area.

\n Key Responsibilities:
\n• Complete assigned Work Orders using the lab’s internal tracking system.
\n• Monitor incoming work requests and begin work independently, especially during the night shift.
\n• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain HIL test systems, including hardware and software components.
\n• Modify wiring harnesses and create connections for sensors and engine components such as EGR, VGT, and IAT.
\n• Support custom electronic hardware development including harness builds, ROM boot setups, and test instrumentation.
\n• Maintain documentation of system configurations (hardware, cards, serial numbers, etc.).
\n• Install software such as CyberApps plant models and LUIS configurations on test benches.
\n• Perform scheduled maintenance on actuator carts, CAN panels, wiring harnesses, and other lab equipment.
\n• Assist with lab organization, inventory, and continuous improvement initiatives.

\n Qualifications:
\n• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electronics Technician or in a similar technical role.
\n• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, system-level troubleshooting, and data measurement tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
\n• Ability to read wiring schematics and perform hands-on wiring, soldering, and system integration.
\n• Comfortable working independently and managing workload using a work order system.
\n• Able to work onsite full-time in Columbus, IN.
