Organization: SPMF-Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation - South Position Overview: Designs and implements physician recruitment and retention strategies. Leads physician recruitment team and oversees end-to-end physician recruitment process. Sources and evaluates potential physician practice transitions and/or acquisitions. Establishes and implements goals, standards and practices that guide and support initiatives while ensuring the delivery of quality service or exceptional customer/employee experiences. Develops and fosters a solid partnership with leaders, work teams and other employees to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes. EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field or equivalent education/experience

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

12 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Ability to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to all physician recruitment activities and employment law including visas. Knowledge of physician compensation, contract negotiation, physician practice development, marketing and planning. Knowledge of microsoft office to include Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to build and maintain collegial relationships with physicians and leaders across a regional healthcare organization. Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees. Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others. Understanding of the budgetary process and familiarity with the healthcare financial environment. Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and provide services consistent with applicable legal standards and regulations. Delegates effectively, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
