Dental Assistant Instructor Opportunity

Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

Compensation: $22 - $25/hour

Location: Smyrna, TN

Hours: Part-Time; Two days a week + Saturday: Hours will vary but are planned out in advance for Saturday classes and coverage during the week.

Cumberland Academy of Dental Assisting is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to lead our clinical classes. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons, guiding students through hands-on practice, and preparing them for successful careers as dental assistants. All curriculum and materials will be provided. Expected hours: 8 32 per week. The expectation is to start with 8 hours a week and increase as training progresses.

Responsibilities

• Teach and demonstrate dental assisting techniques and procedures.
• Provide individual and group instruction to enhance students' learning experiences.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure relevant instruction.
• Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty with approved materials.
• Track student attendance and grades.
• Implement and adhere to all school policies.

Qualifications

• RDA with a minimum of 3 years with experience in general or pediatric dentistry.
• Or EFDA with a minimum of 1 year with experience in general or pediatric dentistry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
