Job Description

MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING A BOX TRUCK WITH A 12FT OR LONGER TRAILER.

Connect Staffing is seeking a Delivery Driver at a warehouse that manufactures shutters and blinds in the city of Garden Grove, CA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am-2:30pm

Requirements as a Delivery Driver:

Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience with a 12-foot box truck or bigger
Must have a valid driver's license
Bilingual in Spanish and English (Spanish Speaking only is ok)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Prior experience has a Delivery Driver, Warehouse Associates, and or Loading and Unloading is a plus!

Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver:

Able to load, unload, lift, push boxes weighing 50lbs on average constantly.
Follow instructions, safety policy, and traffic rules and deliver the products to the designated addresses safely.
Follow the assigned work schedule, meal break, and rest period.
Return the Norman-provided equipment, vehicle, smartphone to the designated location at the end of the delivery tasks.
Report any exceptions, vehicle issues, injuries, customer complaints to worksite supervisor in a proactive and timely manner.
Work as a Heavy Lifter (load, unload, lift, push boxes weighing 50lbs on average constantly) in Garden Grove warehouse when there is no delivery task assigned.
